Has this ever bothered anyone else?

I watched the return of the bionic woman yesterday and something has always bothered me about that storyline. I know the writers never expected BW to return so bringing her back to life was a challenge but I always wondered why Steve, as her fiance, never questioned why there was never a body for a funeral. Wouldn't you, as her closest loved one, plan a proper memorial??? I wished they could have somehow addressed it in the ROTBW.

Here's my stab at this and I think I was just so happy she was alive again and they had a moment here and there I never thought about it, but it's a great question. So here's my take on what might have happened.

I'm thinking when she "died" the memorial was off-screen. I am imagining Oscar & Rudy thought to conceal Jamie's resurrection from the dead from Steve probably because they didn't want to raise Steve's hopes, only to watch her die again (as this thing Michael was supposed to do was new). They could easily fabricate something that would keep Steve in the dark - a document that said she wished to be cremated or have a closed casket. They are the OSO they would do anything. I'm thinking they were as good as the IMF and their team .

Also if I recall correctly, Steve's mom was the one who was supposedly Jamie's guardian(was that how they knew each other) - so mom being mom would have taken care of the arrangements. I find that usually men, aren't as detailed oriented or able to deal with these types of things. Add to that he would have been too distraught. So the private memorial we didn't see cause it would have been too hard for us kiddies to watch could have happened without Jamie's body.

Seeing I don't really get the Six Million Dollar Man or Bionic Woman around here and haven't really seen it in a long time I would have to watch it again to see how it went.

I remember seeing it when it first aired on abc back then I was a teenager and when I watched it vcrs weren't even out back then. I remember her collapsing in the telephone booth and was out in some heavy rain.

At that time I wasn't crazy about it because I didn't like how they killed her off but then when I guess they had thoughts of bringing her back they did another 2 parter where they had her having amnesia or something where she forgot her relationship with Steve which I always hated too.

I did like those two together whenever they were in the episodes they developed for them.

And as I mentioned the only one that ever really comes to mind that I liked best is the Return of Big Foot with Steve, Jamie, Shalon and Gillian etc.

I wished after they did this one they would've had Steve and Jamie go off with Shalon and Gillian.

Then when they brought them back in the movies where they got back together I was happy with that one. Sandy.
